RESERVES

Reserves are closed.

Reserves will open when it gets closer to the start date of the game which will be... never. Or at the very earliest, January next year.

Reserves will last until the next app cycle opens, and you cannot re-reserve the same character if you do not submit an app in that cycle UNLESS there are severe extenuating circumstances. In that case, please contact a mod.

Please fill out the following form to reserve!

HIATUS

We ask that hiatuses be no longer than two weeks!

Computers exploding, however, are a valid reason to have a longer hiatus.

FORM GOES HERE.

PREMISE

Starfish aliens have taken your characters and dumped them on an area off the coast of Australia. The aliens seemed to be linked to the moon, because in the week where the moon's light shines down, strange things happen in dreams, and when their influence is blocked (i.e. new moon), strange and dangerous things happen - but the aliens know about this weakness, and so engineer tests to try and keep their precious and delicate pets as safe as possible.

There will be monthly events in the style of Survivor Challenges, as well as a regain system linked to those events.

There is an overarching plot that will be revealed as the game goes on - and the choices your characters make could potentially change the galaxy.

WEATHER

Spring (september, october, november):
Hot, humid. Lots of showers. Nights are still fairly cool.

Summer (december, january, february): Hot. Hothothot. Drier than a dead dog's balls - except when it's building up to a storm, which is practically every other day. Hot dry northwesterlies characterise most summer days.

Autumn (march, april, may): It's still quite warm, but towards the end of april the temperatures start to drop at night. It's fairly dry, with perhaps only one or two rain events a month.

Winter (june, july, august): Cold and dry. The sun is much farther away, and it doesn't usually rise much above 20 degrees, even at midday. Sunburn is still a possibility, but so is hypothermia, with temperatures on cloudless nights dropping to zero or below.
